Oculoplastic and Aesthetic Surgery Pediatric & Adult Ophthalmology
Scott
M. Goldstein, MD is a Board Certified surgeon with specialized
training in both ophthalmology and cosmetic surgery. He is
a fellow of both the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic
and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Currently, he is an active member of the Wills Eye Hospital
Oculoplastic Service with clinical faculty appointments at
both the University of Pennsylvania and the Jefferson Medical
College. Dr. Goldstein earned his BS from Cornell University
and his MD degree from Boston University School of Medicine,
where he graduated with honors in 1996. He came to Philadelphia
in 1996, completing a year of general medical training at
Thomas Jefferson University Hospital followed by a three-year
residency in ophthalmology at the University of Pennsylvania’s
Scheie Eye Institute. In 2002, he completed a two year pediatric
and adult ophthalmic plastic reconstructive and aesthetic
surgery fellowship based at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
and the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Goldstein was appointed
Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of
Pennsylvania in 2002 where he served as the director of medical
education for the department of ophthalmology and oversaw
the Oculoplastic surgery division at the Philadelphia Veterans
Hospital. Since 2003, Dr. Goldstein has devoted his energy
and expertise to Tri-County’s own first-rate oculoplastic
service, serving patients of all ages! Dr. Goldstein is an
active author in the medical literature and frequently lectures
in the area of Oculoplastic and aesthetic surgery.
