Comprehensive Ophthalmology Laser Vision Correction
Dr.
Tax earned his MD degree from Cornell University College of
Medicine in 1970. He entered military service as a Captain
and Flight Surgeon at Andrews Air Force Base near Washington,
DC, then spent three years as resident surgeon at Wills Eye
Hospital. He entered private practice the following year and
formally merged his practice with Dr. Miller’s in 1977.
Dr. Tax, a comprehensive ophthalmologist and sub-specialist
in laser vision correction, is a certified Diplomat of the
American Board of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of both the American
Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons
and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive
Surgery. A pioneering refractive surgeon, Dr. Tax is Medical
Director of TLC’s Plymouth Meeting Laser Eye Center.
He balances his TLC Laser Eye Center responsibilities with
a busy Tri-County patient schedule.
