 Pediatric
Ophthalmology and Eye Muscle Disorders
Dr. Emily DeCarlo graduated from the University of Pennsylvania
School of Medicine in 2005. In 2009, she completed her residency
in ophthalmology at Wills Eye Institute in Philadelphia, where
she served as chief resident. She then completed her fellowship
in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at the Children’s
Hospital of Philadelphia in 2010. Dr. DeCarlo is a member
of the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and
Strabismus and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She
joined Tri-County Eye Physicians and Surgeons in August 2010
and will be specializing in the comprehensive eye care of
children including retinopathy of prematurity, and eye muscle
disorders of children and adults. Dr. DeCarlo spends her free
time with her husband and toddler son.
