The Amber
 At
first the forms seem hazy
So indistinct and grey
It's becoming more difficult
To distinguish night from day
Now it's a constant struggle
To bring the forms into view
It seems to be more evident
That something is askew
This little amber pea sized fossil
No longer transmits light
To the posterior portion of the retina
Responsible for sight
Cataract! they call it
A sign of advancing age
Approaching the third act of life
Upon the worn out stage
We all seek rejuvenation
To free us from the doom
To permit the rays of light to shine
Across the darkened room
The new lens makes it possible
To distinguish day from night
The result of a modern miracle
The restoration of sight

THE PAST 12 MONTHS HAS BEEN THE BEST I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG
TIME. HOW BEAUTIFUL TO SEE CLEARLY AGAIN.
ON MARCH 5, 2008 YOU REMOVED MY CATARACT AND IN- PLANTED
A PERSCRIPTION LENS. AT THAT TIME I THOUGHT I HAD SEEN MORE
CLEARLY THEN I HAVE SEEN IN A VERY LONG TIME. WAS I GOING
TO BE SURPRIZED AGAIN, WOW !
ON FEBUARY 4, 2009 YOU DESIDED TO DO A SECOND EYE LAZER TREATMENT
THAT WOULD CLEAR MY VISION EVEN MORE CLEARLY. YOU DID A CAPSULOTOMY
WITH THE “YAG LASER ” THAT HAS MADE ME SEE EVEN
MORE COLORS AND MORE CLEARLY THAN I HAVE SEEN IN A VERY LONG
TIME, WOW ! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT TO SEE AGAIN FOR THE FIRST
TIME.
WHAT IS NEXT, DR. PRINCE? CAN YOU SEE ANYTHING ELSE YOU AND
MODERN TECHNOLOGY CAN DO TO MAKE US SEE MORE THAN WE HAVE
